QAR was founded by Robert Fitzgerald in 2009. Mr. Fitzgerald had a strong background in operating and growing companies and identified many of the inefficiencies that existed in the current growth and financing of early stage companies. Through affiliated investment funds, QAR provides debt and equity capital to companies that are at the early stage or transformative stage of their growth.
Although QAR’s experience and historical strength have resided primarily in the wireless broadband market, it has no restrictions on the types of businesses or industries it invests in with current holdings as diverse as mobile app development, security/ surveillance integration and real estate development.
QAR is currently seeking opportunities where it can invest in strong management teams in solid markets or for operating companies in which it can take full ownership and run as a wholly owned portfolio company.
